
Homecoming is next week!!! This years theme is Movies. Monday, August 25th - Powderpuff @6:30pm, Tuesday - JH VB & JH FB starting at 3:30pm, Wednesday 1st round of Ironman @ 3:30pm, Thursday HS VB @4:00pm with Final round of Ironman after the HS VB game. After Ironman join us outside for our Pep Rally and Bonfire. Friday is parade day!! Line up for judging at 9:30 in the school parking lot. Bikes meet at Cook Oil for judging and line up at 9:30am. Parade starts at 10:00am - JH VB kicks off homecoming starting at 2:00pm followed by HS VB at 3:00, JH FB at 3:30, and HS FB at 6:00 with the crowning of king and queen at Halftime.





Please join us this Thursday, August 14th, for our Hamburger Fry and Rent-a-Kid sale at 6:30 PM. You are more than welcome to bring a dish. We look forward to having you!🦅💜


The Walsh School District in the County of Baca, State of Colorado, calls for the nomination of candidates for school directors to be placed on the ballot for the regular biennial school elections to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
To be qualified, a candidate must have been a registered elector of the school district for at least 12 consecutive months before the election. A person is ineligible to run for school director if he or she has been convicted of committing a sexual offense against a child.
At this 2025 election, four (4) seats are available.
● two (2) directors will be elected for a term of two years and,
● three (2) directors will be elected for a term of four years.
A person who desires to be a candidate for school director shall file a written notice of intention to be a candidate and a nomination petition signed by at least 25 eligible electors who are registered to vote in the regular biennial school election.
Nomination petitions may be obtained at Walsh School District, 301 N. California Street, Walsh, Colorado, 81090. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8.00 a.m. - 4:15p.m.
Completed petitions shall be submitted to Staci Doyle at Walsh School District, 301 N. California Street, Walsh, Colorado, no later than 12:00 p.m. on August 29, 2025.


Student Parking – Beginning of School Year
For the first two weeks of school, student parking will be located at the old high school parking lot, as it was last spring.
Paving of the new parking lot on the north side of the new school building will begin on Wednesday. Once the work is complete, students will transition to parking in the new lot.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we complete this final phase of construction.
