On August 24th, our senior seminar class welcomed 2017 WHS graduate, Bailey Cook, for a career presentation. Bailey graduated from Colby Community College in 2019 in the Physical Therapy Assistant program, and has since been employed as a licensed PTA at Southeast Colorado Hospital District Rehab unit. Bailey’s presentation included information on course work to become at PTA, the process to obtain a license to practice, and what a PTA does to help patients. Bailey’s plan for the future includes continuing her education to earn a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. Thank you, Bailey, for taking the time to introduce us to a very interesting career field!

Student spotlight - Kadence Kunselman Kadence recently created this pencil drawing after being inspired in her leathercraft class. Kadence really liked her teacher's demonstration artwork and decided to try her hand at creating her own floral design. Beautiful job, Kadence! We look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
