Walsh School District: New School Entry and Parking Information
We are thrilled to welcome students to our brand-new school, which is looking fantastic! Our dedicated teachers have been hard at work preparing for the first day, and we are all eager to begin this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!
Please take note of the important details below for the upcoming school day on Monday:
Building Entry:
• Entry Time: All students (K-12) may enter the building starting at 7:40 AM. Pre-K will follow the same procedures when they begin on Jan. 13th.
• Entry Location: Students should enter through the front doors on the east side of the school.
Parking:
• Student Parking: All students will park in the old high school parking lot.
• No Street Parking: There will be no student parking along the street in front of the school.
Drop-off Procedure:
• Circle Drive: Parents may use the circle drive in front of the school for student drop-off. Please enter from the north and exit from the south end of the drive.
Dismissal:
• Elementary Dismissal: 4:05 PM
• Junior/Senior High Dismissal: 4:10 PM

2024 HBT Brackets 🏀
Jr. High Basketball Monday, Dec. 16th.
Several students participated in the School Quilt Block Challenge. The National Quilt Museum sponsors the challenge every year. The students were provided three pieces of fabric required to be used in the design of the quilt block. The block measured 16"x16", and the students had creative freedom with the design. The quilt block was not allowed to be completely quilted. The students could hand quilt or machine quilt areas of their quilt block. Avila and Myra each submitted a quilt block for the high school level. At the junior high level, we had two blocks submitted. They were created by two teams. Cassie & Reese - Kyndall & Sawyer - The winners will be announced sometime in December.
