Week of April 8th athletic updates.

Our first FCCLA State Competition is in the books. I am so proud of all my students. They worked hard and humored me and all the pictures. This was a learning experience for all of us. Now we know what to expect and how everything works. We didn't have any students qualify for Nationals this year. They take the top three in each category and score over 80 points. Jaylie and Reece - Silver, Ava and Averi - Silver, Maddox and Keely - Silver, Aurora - Silver, and she was recognized on stage, Audrey and Samuel- Silver, Susana - Bronze, Jocelyn - Bronze --- I am excited to take what I learned as an Advisor and help our student get back to state next year. Reece was selected as VP of Competitive Events and Averi was selected as VP of Membership for our Ark Valley Chapter - (Trinidad, Swink, Springfield, and Walsh)

Dinner and Fashion show tonight!!!

Our last competitor of the conference is Jocelyn. She is presenting her project in Focus on Children. She analyzed anxiety in students at the elementary and middle school level.

Susana is up with her Early Childhood Education project. Preschool Play incorporates games, music, and art while infusing her native language of Spanish into the curriculum. She has been working with our preschool students since January. Today she has to create a lesson plan from scratch based on a scenario she is given.
