Dear Walsh Eagles, Please remember if your student has cold or flu-like symptoms or a temperature over 100 degrees you should keep your student home until 24 hours has passed without medication for fever. Your child also has to be 24 hrs free of Diarrhea & Vomiting/Throwing Up before returning to school. Other reasons to keep children at home: -The child doesn’t feel well enough to take part in usual activities. For example, a child is overly tired, fussy, or will not stop crying. If you are unsure about keeping your child home, please call the elementary school at 324-5400 or the high school at 324-5221. Thank you for taking care of yourselves.

Next, they will be learning how to install drywall, along with taping and texturing. More to come as the year progresses!

The Walsh High School cycling class is off to a great start! Not only are they getting in some great cardio by riding around the area, but they are also learning about bicycle maintenance and repair. Mr. Doner will be teaching students how to adjust derailleurs, grease and service wheels, install new cables, replace brakes, and service bottom brackets. They will also have the opportunity to manufacture a wheel from scratch! The bicycles were provided through grant funding and donations by the instructor. This class is a great way to earn P.E. credits!
