Today, the 8th-grade life skills class made salads for the lunchroom. Jaxson, Daniel, and Hudson made Cucumber Avocado Tomato Salad. Doug, Ian, and Valex made a Raspberry Vinaigrette. Avila, Cheyenne, and Myra put together a creamy grape salad. Henry, Grady, and Woodrow made a sweet potato salad with salad mix, pomegranate seeds, and pepitas.
Congratulations to Emily Hume (JR) and Kayla Penick (SOPH) for being selected to the Arkansas Valley Volleyball All-Conference team! Great job, Eagles! 🦅🏐💜

2023 Walsh Eagles Jr. High Basketball Tourney

Jr. High basketball to compete in Hooker Classic as well as Walsh Invitational tournament this week.

Today's 6-man qtr. final game will be held in Idalia beginning at 5:00. Walsh and Idalia have worked it out where there will be NO Admission charge for the game.
Booster Club Event coming up!!
The WHS Graphic Design class has finished its first digital magazine. The students each had a section in the magazine and helped gather information and ads to put in the magazine. We will release another digital edition at Christmas time and two printed editions in the spring and for graduation. I am proud of my students for their work on this project. Creating a magazine from scratch is a task and has a considerable learning curve. The ads were created by Jocelyn and Raegen in Mrs. Jones's Video Class. This past Monday some of the seniors visited Northwest Kansas Technical College for the Tech Expo. Thank you for taking them, Mrs. Mundell!
