Due to the smell of natural gas the JH/HS students and staff have evacuated the building and relocated to the elementary gym. ATMOS has been contacted and we are investigating the issue.
UPDATE: The smell was not a gas leak on either of our campuses. ATMOS checked out both locations and we have been given clearance to return to our buildings

The jr. High games scheduled today in Vilas have been postponed.
Walsh HS Knowledge Bowl team will not be attending the Kit Carson meet tomorrow.
The basketball games for tonight vs. Cheraw have been postponed due to poor weather conditions.

Walsh Schools will be opening on a delayed start, 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Weds. Jan. 10th. Mud routes will be ran by all buses. Please notify the school if you are unable to meet your bus. Please be safe as you travel to school If you are unable to make it in, please notify the office.

Here are some recent pictures from the new school construction. The crane has bee set-up in order to begin erecting the pre-cast walls for phase 3. Which will include the gyms, locker rooms, Vo-Ag classrooms and shops and the music/band room.
