The Family and Consumer Science class worked hard in the kitchen this week. The Eagle's Oven baked 400 items for the pep rally. Students split into groups and made chocolate cupcakes, dirt cups, chocolate chip cookies, monster cookies, cake pops, donut holes, rice krispie treats, magic bars with butterfingers, magic bars with coconut and pecans, brownies, and sugar cookies. I am so proud of my students and how they accomplished everything on our list. Everyone pitched in and made it happen. My 8th-grade life skills class helped package items and prepared them for delivery to the elementary. Dawn, Jocelyn, Raegan, Mrs. Hutches, and Brittany Tedder helped label products. It was a group effort, and I appreciate everyone who helped. I have great students in my classes. The Eagle's Oven- You guys are amazing - Maribel, Emily, Jamie, Yaneidi, Samuel, Audrey, Averi, Maddox, Keely and Reece.

The Walsh Eagles had a great pep rally today. The cheerleaders kicked things off with a class cheer. The 4th and 5th graders danced to Eye of the Tiger, Maliky and Dawn gave pep talks to the volleyball and football teams, and the seniors had a fruit-by-the-foot challenge. Members of the admin, coaching staff, and cheer team did a Bobcat Buster skit, and we ended with our school song. Thank you to Cheer Coach Brittany Tedder and her cheer team for the amazing pep rally.

We ask that students refrain from bringing over $5 to ensure everyone can purchase a treat.
