Avila and I are home from DC. It was an amazing week! She placed bronze and was recognized for representing Colorado in the fashion show. I posted a video on my Facebook page of the fashion show if you would like to see it. We were able to take in some sights while in DC. Avila loves musicals and we attended opening night of Beetlejuice at The National Theater. It was an awesome production and had great music!

We are done with our first day at the National FCCLA conference Washington DC. Avila and I checked out an art museum and the Natural History museum today. We ended the day with 11,000+ in attendance at the opening ceremony. Avila presents tomorrow and has her first dress rehearsal for the fashion show.

This past weekend, Walsh Eagles Maddox Gourley and Samuel Wright had the honor of representing our school and community in the Colorado 6-Man All-State Football Game.
Both young men competed hard, played well, and represented Walsh with the same toughness, sportsmanship, and character that have made them outstanding student-athletes throughout their careers. We are incredibly proud of the way they carried themselves both on and off the field.
Congratulations to Maddox and Samuel on this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for representing Walsh with class, pride, and excellence. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! 🦅💜
