Peoples Credit Union (PCU) sponsored the HS basketball games on January 7, 2022 vs South Baca. Mr. David Hinds, VP of Lending, and Mr. Cecil Wade, Loan Officer, represented PCU and greeted spectators as they entered the gymnasium. Several prizes were given away at 1/2 time of the Varsity Boy's game, including a cash prize of $100. Walsh School District appreciates the Peoples Credit Union and their support. Thank you!

Admission to the HOME games vs South Baca will be covered by Peoples Credit Union and they are sponsoring the popcorn that evening, as well. Varsity Girls start at 5pm with Varsity Boys to follow. Holiday Basketball Tournament Brackets
Walsh High School's Service & Leadership Team has been busy helping in our community this semester. We started out cleaning tables and chairs at the Walsh Community building on September 17th.
November 5th we helped Mr. Alvarez take down the book fair and helped organize old curriculum materials in the elementary building. For this project, Literacy Teacher Ms. Samantha Manuel (WHS alumni/former SLT volunteer of the year award winner) joined us. Thank you, Ms. Manuel, for your ongoing commitment to service!
Finally, on December 5th, the team leveled ground and installed a pad next to Mr. Packard's driveway that will allow him safe access to his car and wheelchair.
Upcoming scheduled work days include helping with inventory at Miller's Specialty & More, helping Cook Oil with a special project, & cleaning/preparing the swimming pool and ball field for summer use.
December 14, 2021 - Come enjoy a night of music and have dinner before or after the performances. We hope to see you there!
Grab yourself some delicious Chili and a Cinnamon Roll at the Junior Class dinner on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Dinner can be picked up at the Walsh School Cafeteria between 11 am and 2:30 pm. Cost is $7.

Join us on Veterans Day as we honor those who have served. The program will begin promptly at 10am. Members of the FFA chapter, HS English classes, and HS Video students will participate in the program. In addition, there will be musical performances by the elementary Music classes, 6-7th grade Band students, and 8-12th grade Modern Band students. Members of Quilts of Valor will be in attendance to present handmade quilts to each veteran honored.
JH and HS Parent / Teacher Conferences are NOT today. They have been moved to next Wednesday, October 27th from 4:45 to 7:30pm. They will be held in the HS Gymnasium. Can't wait to see you!
Homecoming Week Events - Thursday, October 21st - VB Games vs Wiley will start at 3:00pm. Game order is: JH B, JH A, Varsity, then JV. After the VB games, there will be a Pep Rally and Bonfire. The Senior class will have food for sale at the Concession Stand during VB and the Pep Rally. Friday, October 22nd - The Parade Lineup will begin at 3:30pm. The Parade will start at 4pm. Iron Man Volleyball will start at 5pm in the HS Gym. The crowning of the Homecoming Royalty will happen directly after Iron Man volleyball in the Gym. Powder Puff Football will start at 6pm. We invite everyone to come out and celebrate Homecoming. It may not be "normal" but it will NOT disappoint! We are #walshproud!
