Public Notice of 2026 District and School Performance Framework Results
Walsh School District RE-1 is sharing information regarding our 2026 District and School Performance Framework results, as reported by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
Each year, CDE evaluates school districts and schools using several measures of student performance, including academic achievement, academic growth, and, where applicable, postsecondary and workforce readiness.
2026 Preliminary Performance Ratings
District Accreditation Rating: [Accredited]
Elementary School Rating: [Improvement Plan]
Junior High/High School Rating: [Performance Plan]
These results provide information about how our students are performing academically and help identify areas where we are successful as well as areas where improvement is needed.
While we recognize that state assessment results are only one measure of student learning and school success, we take these results seriously.
Our district has begun working with teachers and staff to review student achievement data, examine curriculum alignment with Colorado Academic Standards, evaluate instructional practices, and identify opportunities to improve student learning and academic growth.
We believe that improving student achievement is a districtwide responsibility, and we are committed to working together to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students.
Community members may review the district's performance information through the Colorado Department of Education's SchoolView website:
