Please be advised there are several cases of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease in the community.
Guidelines for school are as follows:
*Child must be fever free for 24hrs (with no assistance of fever reducing medicine).
*Student no longer has fluid filled-blisters (that can't be covered)
*Student doesn't have uncontrolled drooling with mouth sores
*Student feels well enough to return to regular school activities
The school will be taking extra steps in cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces over the next several days to help reduce the spread of illness.
