Family Literacy Night is always a great time. It is a special event for families to come together to celebrate literacy, education, and of course… their kiddos! This April the theme was “Escape the Rainforest”. The activities were based after popular “escape rooms” that have become very popular. Kids came to their classrooms with family members to complete tasks and solve puzzles about the rainforest. For every task or puzzle they received a clue to help them “escape” the classroom. When they figured out all the clues they were awarded a cupcake treat with a gummy forest frog! It was a great night! A big thank you to Mrs. Cook for organizing the event and all the staff, teachers, family and friends that made it possible.
